Transfer by road from your hotel in Nairobi to Crater Lake Camp in Naivasha. Transfer time: 2 to 3 hours.
If you opt to leave Nairobi very early in the morning, you can depart for Lake Naivasha for a game drive in the park (Park fees not included. $90/adult and $45/child)
Hidden in the forest and overlooking a secluded volcanic lake, Crater Lake Camp is both a destination in its own right and a tranquil base for exploring. The spacious safari tents all face out across the lake, featuring private bathrooms for your comfort. Additionally, the restaurant offers even better views, creating a perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment. You will be staying here for day 1 and day 2.
Once checked-in at Crater Lake, you can have an optional walking safari around the crater which is part of the three Rift Valley lakes in Naivasha. Walking safaris or bike safaris can be organised by the lodge on arrival. Park fees not included ($20/adult, $10/child)

Olimba Mara Camp, a charming retreat by the Talek River, offers an intimate escape with six tents for twelve guests amidst breathtaking wilderness. You will stay here from day 3 to day 6.

The Maasai Mara is renowned for its breathtaking wildlife and the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras traverse the plains. You can choose to fo out only for the morning game drive, afternoon, or both. (Park fees not included: $200/adult $100/child for every entry).

Since every game drive in the wild is about being in the right place at the right time, you can opt to hang out in the hotel or leave again for more game drives. You can also opt to drive beyond the Masaai Mara National Park into neighbrouing conservancies instead such as Naboisho which is next to your camp. This extraordinary journey offers a thrilling adventure, as each game drive becomes a quest filled of which animal you will spot for the day in the wild. Neighbouring camps are cheaper than the National Park despite sharing the same ecosytem so they make for a cheaper game drive ($116/adult and $58/child.)
There's no better way to see and experience the Masai Mara than in the air. You will never get tired of seeing the iconic wildlife and breathtaking landscapes that the Mara has to offer. You can add an optional hot air balloon safari with a bush breakfast at $550/person. You will have guareneed great views, lots of unique animal sightings, and perfect morning light.
You can request the driver to stop over for Maasai cultural visit. This unique experience offers insight into traditional customs, vibrant clothing, and local storytelling. You can also use this time to buy traditional souvenirs. Usually Masaai communities charge an extra fee when you visit them during these cultural visits, which varies for each manyatta (village). No more than $30/person
